These are the ultimate party food as everyone can tailor their food without having to worry that person who considered a korma a bit on the spicy side. No guest will be disappointed by these foil covered foods of joy.
This recipe will focus on the beans:
I recommend serving with my spicy baked rice which takes around an hour to make, so I would get started on that before the beans.
The beans are very easy to make, just a case of blitzing the sauce and bringing to a simmer with the beans. The sauce will be much easier to make if you have a food processor but it can be made with a bit of elbow grease.

INGREDIENTS
1/2 an onion, chopped
3 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp minced garlic (about 3 cloves)
1 tbsp chipotle paste
1/2 cup vegetable stock
2 tbsp orange juice
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tins of beans (I used a tin of kidney and a tin of pinto beans, but just use whatever you can find. Turtle beans also work really well)
METHOD:
Chuck all the ingredients aside from the beans in a food processor and blend until smooth. If you don't have a food processor don't panic, just be prepared to stir and mash for a fair while!
Heat the sauce until simmering and tip the beans in.
I like to leave these to simmer for a solid 30 minutes to let the beans get tasty, but if you're in a rush you can just do 5 minutes.
Beans made!
They could be done the day before and reheated too if you're having friends around and can't deal with making food on the day.
Serve these with other burrito toppings like sliced avocado, lettuce, salsa, jalapenos and sour cream. Put these burritos out on a table and let your guests go crazy.
Enjoy!
